This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for October 13, 2017.

10:45 P.M.

North Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting on St. George Street near Civic Center Drive and East Carey Avenue in North Las Vegas. Extent of injuries are unknown at this time. 

5:44 P.M.

Firefighters say that there was no fire at the Aria, though there was a lot of smoke coming from the ducts and stove in the John George Steakhouse. Crews are now working to clear the ducts of smoke. No injuries were reported.

4:57 P.M.

Clark County Firefighters are responding to reports of a fire at Aria hotel-casino. They received a call about the fire around 4:31 p.m. Firefighters are investigating the building. More information to come. 

6:16 A.M.

Las Vegas police have surrounded a Crunch Time Donuts shop at 1220 East Harmon Avenue.

Police have taken a robbery suspect in custody and they believe he is possibly responsible for 5 robberies from last night.
