This is a roundup of all breaking news stories from around the Las Vegas valley for May 30, 2017.

6:30 P.M.

Around 5:20 p.m. the Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 2900 Klinger Circle. Upon arrival, crews found an active fire on the second floor of a four unit two-story apartment complex. A full second alarm was requested and dispatched to assist with the fire. The apartment was evacuated and the fire extinguished in approximately 15 minutes. The fire is under investigation with no confirmed cause determined at this time. No injuries were reported. Damages have not been estimated.

5:50 P.M.

The Clark County Fire Department is fighting a two-alarm fire in the 2900 block of Klinger Circle, near McLeod Drive and Karen Avenue. This is the second two-alarm fire Tuesday.

4:10 P.M.

Six adults and one child were displaced as a result of the fires at 6273 Mt. Rainier Ave. and 2059 Mt. Hood Street. Upon arrival, personnel reported 2 houses involved with fire. The fire was extinguished in approximately 30 minutes. The fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported. Damages have not been estimated.

3:25 P.M.

One person has died in a shooting in the 2800 block of Holmes Street, near North Las Vegas Boulevard and Civic Center Drive. North Las Vegas police said the person was found dead on scene. READ MORE.

2:44 P.M.

CCFD is fighting a 2-alarm house fire on 6200 block of Mt. Rainier Avenue, near Mt. Hood Street and East Lake Mead Boulevard.

8 A.M.

UPDATE: The lockdowns have since been lifted.

CCSD confirms multiple schools are on lockdown as LVMPD search for suspects in the Downtown area.

2 A.M.

Henderson Fire Department responded to an attic fire near Basic and Lake Mead.

A man was found dead inside of the house, which was once reported as vacant, but has since been corrected. READ MORE.

12 A.M.

A man was fatally stabbed at a 7-Eleven gas station at 998 Sierra Vista, near Desert Inn and Maryland Parkway.

One man chased and stabbed another man several times. No arrests have been made yet. READ MORE.

OVERNIGHT

A Southwest passenger who appeared to be intoxicated was asked to deplane Flight 3630 before departing Las Vegas McCarran International Airport for Chicago Midway Airport. The passenger became unruly and employees managed the situation until local law enforcement could assist with removing the passenger from the flight.
