This is a roundup of all the breaking news in the Las Vegas valley for June 25, 2017.

7:19 P.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating a double homicide in the 4400 block of Wendy Lane, near East Craig Road and North Walnut Road, that happened at 7:19 p.m. Three people total were shot; one was found dead in the garage, another found dead inside the house and a third person was taken to University Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the head and leg. 4:14 P.M.

Police are investigating after a body was found near Stewart Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. Early information indicates that the death does not appear to be suspicious. No further information at this time.

1:43 P.M.

Police are investigating a crash near Warm Springs Road and Spencer Street. Drivers should avoid the area. No information about injuries is available at this time.

1:23 P.M.

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada is reporting heavy traffic on southbound Interstate 15 to California. Traffic is backed up for 12 miles. Drivers should expect long delays. No word yet on the cause of the backup.

12:30 P.M.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue battled a 2-alarm fire at Charleston Garden Apartments at 4850 East Charleston Boulevard. The fire was reported around noon and was out within 10 minutes. The second alarm was called due to the heat. No injuries were reported, though an estimated 50 people require assistance after the fire. READ MORE.
