This is a roundup of all the breaking news stories from around the Las Vegas valley for June 13, 2017.

10:25 P.M.

A woman assaulted a Las Vegas officer when she was taken off an American Airlines flight from Chicago to Las Vegas. Las Vegas police confirm that during the flight the female assaulted another passenger and a flight crew member. The plane landed at McCarran Airport around 8:15 p.m. when police escorted her off the plane and placed her under arrest.

6:40 P.M.

A vehicle fire has blocked right lanes of traffic on southbound Interstate 15 past Flamingo Road.

12:36 P.M.

UPDATE: The barricade situation on Tom Noon Avenue is over. The man gave himself up to police peacefully. No injuries have been reported.

9:15 A.M.

Las Vegas firefighters responded to the Alpine Motel Apartments, 213 N. Ninth St., after fire dispatchers received several calls that there was a fire in the motel.

When firefighters arrived, there was light smoke showing from the second floor of the three-story concrete block motel. Approximately 30 people were evacuated by firefighters.

Firefighters found where a fire had been burning in the bathroom of one of the apartments. Most of the fire was put out by one of the tenants using a fire extinguisher. 

No one was injured during the incident. One person was treated and released on scene by fire paramedics for a minor medical problem. No one was displaced by the fire.

8:45 A.M.

Las Vegas police reports an active barricade situation on 8600 Tom Noon Avenue, near Blue Diamond Road and South Durango Drive.

Police have confirmed that a woman and child were inside of the home but have since vacated the residence.  CLICK FOR MORE DETAILS

Vehicle catches fire near Rancho and Vegas drives.

5:03 A.M.

Las Vegas police are investigating the deaths of two people near Sahara and Valley View. Another person has been taken to the hospital. READ MORE.
