This is a roundup of all the breaking news from around the Las Vegas valley for August 4, 2017.

9:30 P.M.

Clark County Fire Department was unable to recover the body of a victim lost during today's flooding near Boulder Highway and East Sahara Avenue. The incident happened shortly before 2 p.m. and at least one person was pulled from the flood channel at that time. Another person could not be reached though. Crews are continuing to monitor the water flow and will recover the body as soon as it's safe.

6:08 P.M.

Fire crews responded to a structure fire at 4735 California Avenue around 5:18 p.m. It was out within 25 minutes. No injuries were reported, and there is no estimate on the damage at this time. The cause is under investigation.

8 A.M.

Nevada Highway Patrol is reporting a single vehicle rollover on I-15 southbound exit to I-215 eastbound. The right lane is blocked. 4 people were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

6 A.M.

 

A crash was reported at the intersection of Tropicana and Durango Drive on Friday morning. According to initial reports, two teenagers were struck by a vehicle shortly after 5 a.m. At this time, the extent of their injuries are not known.

 

5 A.M.

Firefighters responded to a fire at 2112 Ash Ave. this morning. A rubbish fire in a vacant lot spread to a vacant nearby house. Las Vegas Fire & Rescue says there was little damage to the house but a power pole was burned.
