HENDERSON (KTNV) — Traffic could soon be a lot smoother on Eastern Avenue.
RTC announcing on Twitter a new adaptive signal control technology.
They say it will react to changing traffic in real-time rather than relying on a timer like other lights in the valley.
This is part of a pilot program to see if the new technology reduces congestion, emissions and improves safety.
The program is set to end in March.
