LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The College of Southern Nevada held a "topping off ceremony" for its new student unions on Tuesday.

The ceremony was in celebration of workers hoisting the final steel beams into place.

Identical student unions are being constructed on each of CSN's three campuses.

The buildings are scheduled to open for the fall 2019 semester and expected to transform the campuses, according to an event spokesperson.

The unions will include student gathering spaces, food courts, student government offices, courtyards, advising offices, a multicultural center, and sitting areas.

These new additions are also expected to help CSN students get the most out of their college experience.
