Nevada inmate dies over the weekend

A Nevada inmate died over the weekend.

The Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) says that on Saturday, December 18, Inmate Susan Roux died at the Nathan Adelson Hospice Center in Las Vegas.

Roux, a 61-year-old female, was housed at Florence McClure Women’s Correctional Center prior to her admission into the hospital.

She was committed from Clark County on January 24, 2012, and was serving a 76 to 190-month sentence for Habitual Criminal.

The Clark County coroner responded and an autopsy is being scheduled. Next of kin have been notified.
