The Nevada Department of Corrections reports that on Oct. 27 around 5:00 p.m., Inmate Charlie D. Staggs, #68447, died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in the Regional Medical Facility in Carson City, Nevada.
63-year-old Staggs was committed from Churchill County on March 19, 2001, and was serving 240 to 600 months for Sexual Assault.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office coroner responded and an autopsy is being scheduled. Next of kin have been notified.
