Nevada Highway Patrol stepping up seat belt enforcement

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is stepping up seat belt enforcement over the next few weeks.

Troopers said they will be checking if drivers and passengers are wearing seat belts during every traffic stop.

NHP says buckling up is the single most effective way to protect yourself in a crash.
