LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses who may have seen a fatal crash in December.
Troopers are continuing their investigation into a deadly collision that happened on Dec. 15, 2019, just after 5 a.m. at the intersection of Blue Diamond Road and El Capitan Way.
A white 2017 Honda CR-V was traveling west on Blue Diamond Road in the left turn lane. It entered the intersection directly in front of a white 2015 Honda Civic that was traveling eastbound on Blue Diamond.
The Civic then struck the CR-V, and redirected into a traffic sign and a wooden billboard at the intersection.
The driver of the Civic was transported to the University Medical Center but later died due to his injuries on Dec. 26, according to NHP.
Troopers later identified that driver as 72-year-old Robert Glenn Largen, of Henderson, Nev.
If anyone witnessed this crash, they were urged to contact the Nevada Highway Patrol Multi-Disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team at RKMiller@dps.state.nv.us.
