FEB. 16 UPDATE: The Clark County Coroner has identified the man as 18-year-old Blake Reyes from Las Vegas. Reyes' death was due to blunt force injuries and it was ruled an accident.
His death marks the Nevada Highway Patrol – Southern Command’s 8th deadly crash resulting in 10 fatalities for 2021.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and truck on Blue Diamond and Lindell roads.
According to troopers, witnesses say a sport bike was traveling at a high rate of speed on Blue Diamond Road.
NHP says the blue Ford F-150 truck was turning left from westbound Blue Diamond Road at the intersection with Lindell when the motorcycle struck the truck.
Troopers say the rider of the motorcycle was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
