Nevada firefighters recently helped free three bear cubs from a trash can.
Firefighters with the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District in Reno woke up to the sound of a dumpster tipping over.
Not one, but three bear cubs were trapped inside the upturned bin. While one firefighter attempted to free the cubs, another recorded video.
All three scampered safely back to the woods.
Firefighters later tweeted that a concerned mama bear oversaw the entire rescue operation.
YOU DON'T SEE THIS OFTEN: Saturday night, the crew at #TMFPD Station 39 were awoken to the sound of a tipped over garbage bin. When daylight came, an agitated momma bear could be seen watching over the bin. With help from our firefighters, watch who escapes.👨🚒🐻 pic.twitter.com/SnlMBMNsrd
