While rent is increasing around the Las Vegas valley, a recent study found that Nevada cities are still among the best places to rent.
The WalletHub study placed Henderson at No. 26, Reno at No. 33, Las Vegas at No. 48 and North Las Vegas at No. 93.
WalletHub compared more than 180 rental markets on data including the difference between rental rates and mortgage payments to historical price changes, the cost of living and job availability.
Four Arizona cities -- Scottsdale, Peoria, Chandler and Gilbert -- and Fargo, North Dakota round out the top five best places to rent while Detroit, Michigan, is ranked the worst place to rent.
