Col. Todd Dyer assumed command of the 99th Air Base Wing from Col. Cavan Craddock in a closed ceremony yesterday.
Dyer most recently served as the Vice Commander of the 47th Flying Training Wing at Laughlin AFB in Texas.
Craddock has been the 99th ABW commander since May 2018 and will retire after 25 years in the Air Force.
Due to current base access restrictions and to support social distancing measures, the ceremony was not open to base personnel or members of the public or media.
A 15-minute introductory roundtable with Dyer will take place on June 12 at 2 p.m.
