Close to 2,000 NV Energy customers were without power in the southwest part of the valley Sunday afternoon.
The power outage was reported near Blue Diamond Road and Interstate 15. RTC reported stop lights were out along Blue Diamond Road from I-15 to Arville Street.
NV Energy has reported equipment is the cause of the outage, which was reported at 3:06 pm. While the power restoration was estimated around 6 p.m., it was restored to most customers by 4:15 p.m.
