Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is teaming up with the Paragon Group to help women and minority businesses land construction jobs.

The goal is to help women and other minorities compete against larger corporations.

They are hosting an event on Tuesday between 8 and 10:30 p.m. at the Department of Business and Industry on Sahara Avenue near Valley View Boulevard.
