It's almost Turkey Day, meaning Americans will be hitting the road in record numbers this week. AAA estimates that more than 46 million Americans will be traveling more than 50 miles from their home, the vast majority of which will go on the road. But good news: Gas is nearly 75 cents per gallon lower than it was a year ago.

WEATHER: Even better news? It's shaping up to be an unseasonably warm and sunny Thanksgiving Day for much of the country. According to current projections from the Weather Channel, even cities as far north as Chicago and Buffalo can expect highs in the mid-50s on Thursday. But keep an eye out, as many parts of the country could be affected by rain as travelers head home next weekend.

TV: It's not Thanksgiving without the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will air Thursday at 9 a.m. Plus, holiday specials kick into high gear starting this weekend, highlighted by Santa Claus is Comin' To Town and Frosty the Snowman both airing this weekend.

SPORTS: Thanksgiving of course means football, and there will be plenty to go around on Thursday. The NFL's annual triple header begins at 12:30 when the Detroit Lions host the Philadelphia Eagles, and should extend late into the night as the Chicago Bears take on the Green Bay Packers.

The football feast extends into the weekend as college rivals square off. Clemson/South Carolina, Auburn/Alabama and Ohio State/Michigan all play for bragging rights this weekend.

BLACK FRIDAY: Of course, the biggest shopping day of the year is just around the corner, and there is no shortage of deals. Check out our list of Black Friday deals that can help you save big and get your holiday shopping done early.

MOVIES: Thanksgiving marks another big weekend for Hollywood as the Holiday movie season is in full swing. This week will see the release of "Creed," the seventh film in the "Rocky" series. Michael B. Jordan ("Friday Night Lights," "Fruitvale Station") plays the son of Apollo Creed, and embarks on a boxing career with the help of his father's rival and friend.

"Victor Frankenstein" also premieres this weekend, a classic horror tale that closely mirrors the original novel by Mary Shelley. Daniel Radcliffe ("Harry Potter") stars as Dr. Frankenstein's assistant, Igor.

MUSIC: Adele took the music world by storm last week, as her album "25" is already one of the best sellers this year. This week, Chris Brown and David Guetta will try and do the same with their new albums "Royalty" and "Listen Again."
