Cook tweeted a picture of the crispy chicken head next to the company's logo and even mentioned that the tongue, eyes and beak were all present.
Buffalo Wild Wings issued a statement to CNBC after the incident:
"Buffalo Wild Wings takes food preparation, service and quality extremely seriously and we are looking into this situation," a spokesman told CNBC. "We've reached out to Jared Cook and our suppliers for more information."
