Mardi Gras kicks off Friday.
The city of New Orleans will have restrictions in place to try and prevent the annual tradition from becoming a super-spreader event.
That includes shutting down all bars and prohibiting the sale of drinks to-go.
The city also announced foot traffic to popular places like Bourbon Street will be restricted after 7 p.m.
Mardi Gras runs from Feb. 12 through the 16.
