INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana National Guard says one of their soldiers was involved in a fight in the bleachers at Wrigley Field where several racial slurs were yelled out.

The Guard has not identified the man involved but they say they became aware of the incident on Wednesday evening.

"The statements made by this individual are not in keeping with the Army Values, and they do not reflect the views or beliefs of the United States Armed Forces, and specifically, the Indiana National Guard," they released in a statement. "The Indiana National Guard is conducting a thorough inquiry to determine the details surrounding this incident."

The video was recorded Monday night at Wrigley Field where the Cubs were hosting the Pittsburgh Pirates for "Hispanic Heritage Night." It was shared on Twitter by Danny Rockett and it quickly went viral.

Rockett said he wants fans to know that the bleachers are for the Cubs fan family.

"As a bleacher season ticket holder, I want everyone to know that the bleachers are a place for our Cubs Fan family. Everyone's welcome. Except racists," said Rockett. "Like the man said in the video. There's no fighting in the bleachers."
