Actress Doris Roberts, who most notably played the role of Ray Romano's mother on the show "Everybody Loves Raymond" passed away on Sunday. She was 90 years old.
Roberts was born in St. Louis, Mo. in 1925. She has been a staple in Hollywood since the early '50s, appearing in a number of TV roles throughout the years. She hit her stride late in her career, winning four Emmys between 2001-2005, all for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy series for her work as Marie on Everybody Loves Raymond.
She was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003.
