All this rain around the valley meant lots of crashes on local roads.

Between midnight and 4 p.m. Saturday, Nevada Highway Patrol Southern Command handled 36 injury, 52 property damage and 4 hit-and-run crashes around the valley.

13 Action News came across a 3-car crash near Charleston and Decatur boulevards.

In addition, there was a multi-car crash blocking lanes of U.S. 95 near Eastern Avenue. It was eventually determined a cement truck went through the sound wall, causing lane closures for much of the day.

It also resulted in 19th Street between Marlin and Elm being closed until further notice.

Drivers should also be on the lookout for flooding and ponding in some areas of the city.
