A man, believed to be armed, has barricaded himself at Mountain View Hospital, according to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police watch commander.
The hospital is currently on lockdown.
SWAT and crisis negotiators have responded to the scene, attempting to talk the subject out.
The incident began at around 1:02AM Sunday after a call of an armed individual on one of the floors of the hospital. Responding officers immediately evacuated the floor and isolated the suspect.
No one has been injured and it is believed that no hostages are being held by the man.
