UPDATE ON MARCH 18: The Clark County Coroner identified 24-year-old Jason Robert Pacheco from Las Vegas as the victim in Thursday's crash.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A motorcyclist died after a crash Thursday evening.
The crash was reported around 9 p.m. near Palm Street and Russell Road involving a motorcycle and an SUV. According to Las Vegas police, the SUV driver turned left in front of the motorcycle.
Police said the 24-year-old motorcyclist was transported to Sunrise Hospital where the rider later succumbed to injuries.
The 71-year-old SUV driver is cooperating with the investigation. Police say that the driver showed no signs of impairment after the crash.
Russell Road was closed between Lamb Boulevard and Mountain Vista Street for hours.
