Investigators say on July 28 around 2:56 pm, a red 2010 Honda CBR1000 was eastbound on Galleria Drive in the right travel lane approaching Stufflebeam Avenue.
For unknown reasons the rider failed to maintain his travel lane and entered the right turn lane. The motorcycles front wheel then struck the raised cement curb ejecting the rider.
The rider was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The rider has been identified as 59-year-old Nicholas Piscitelli from Henderson, Nevada.
