A home was badly damaged by a fire early Friday morning.
The fire happened in the 300 block of Morning Crest Avenue, near Las Vegas Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway.
The homeowner, who was inside the home when it started, became so upset about the fire that he had to be restrained and transported to a local hospital.
The fire started was reported at 1:37 a.m.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
