A rally is being held this weekend in Las Vegas in response to recent mass shootings.
The Nevada chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is hosting it.
The purpose of the rally is to honor the lives that were lost in Dayton and El Paso and urge lawmakers to pass common sense gun reform legislation.
The rally is taking place 3 p.m. Saturday at East Las Vegas Community Center on Eastern Avenue.
Congressman Steven Horsford will be there as well as some members of Clark County School District's board of trustee and local students.
