Coroner identifies man killed in SE Las Vegas

Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide near Boulder Highway and Harmon Avenue.

Police say a shooting occurred at 5390 Boulder Highway around 7 p.m. Police found a man in a parking lot with an apparent gunshot wound.

He was transported to Sunrise Trauma where he died of his injuries.

The Clark County coroner identified the victim as 38-year-old Bradley From. He died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

A witness says she heard fighting, gunshots and a man lying on the ground. Homicide detective s determined there was a verbal altercation between From and another man. The argument turned physical and police said From grabbed the other man and began beating him. Eventually, From was shot one time.

No arrests have been made yet.

This is the 31st homicide investigated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 2016.
