LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas police and community organizations came together to try and reduce crime on the Las Vegas Strip on Saturday night.
The mission was called “Back the Boulevard” and included officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and Nevada Highway Patrol along with volunteers from dozens of community organizations.

Folks involved were also on the lookout for missing children, identifying and preventing human trafficking and were also helping the homeless.

“What happens here is up to all of us and what I mean by that is we need to come together to make sure that Las Vegas Boulevard certainly remains the safest, securest and most successful tourist destination in the world,” says Captain Dori Koren, LVMPD.
