Metro Diner is accepting job applications for its newest location at 2050 E. Serene Avenue, near Eastern Avenue.
The diner concept, of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives fame, known for its fried chicken and waffles, meatloaf, and shrimp and grits, will bring 85 new jobs to the region as it looks to open its doors in December.
Applications to join the Metro Diner team will be accepted now through the December opening for various positions including server, host and kitchen staff.
According to Tony Alonge, joint venture partner, there is an especially high need to fill kitchen positions for the open air kitchen at the Serene location.
