Two men are facing charges in connection with multiple PO box break-ins across Las Vegas.

According to a federal complaint filed on September 11, the United States Postal Inspection Service received numerous reports of theft from PO boxes at various post office locations in Las Vegas.

The complaint states surveillance footage caught a white male adult entering the Spring Valley Post Office around 11:25 pm on July 8. The footage shows the man using a crowbar to pry open PO boxes.

The complaint goes on to detail similar thefts at a post office in Summerlin and a post office near Russell and Buffalo. The complaint identifies a second suspect during those thefts.

One of the suspects was located when police responded to a domestic violence dispute at a Motel 6 on Boulder Highway, according to the complaint.

The complaint states police found approximately 300 checks "in various stages of alteration" and U.S. Postal Service keys in the room.

Both men are facing charges of Destruction of Letter Boxes and Mail Theft.
