More than 36 million people are expected to hit the road for Memorial Day Weekend. That includes many residents of the Las Vegas area.

Right now, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Las Vegas is $3.30, according to AAA.

The national average is $2.97.

The cheapest we found on GasBuddy.com was $3.15 at a Costco on Martin Luther King Boulevard near U.S. 95 and at Arco on Charleston Boulevard near Las Vegas Boulevard.

Gas is at its highest price on Memorial Day Weekend in four years.

Apps like GasBuddy and Gas Guru will point you to the cheapest gas in your area.

On May 27 from noon to 2 p.m., U.S. Gas and Showtime Car Wash's location at Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard will have live music, free hot dogs and hamburgers, $1.99 per gallon gas, and free full-service car wash for all active military, veterans, law enforcement and first responders.
