The Las Vegas Review-Journal is reporting that McCarran International Airport is likely getting a $116 million grant to extend its taxiway.
The airport is currently the nation's 8th busiest airport, with millions of passengers come and go each year.
Senator Dean Heller, who is part of the U.S. Transportation Committee, says it's critical that infrastructure ensures efficient travel for outgoing and incoming visitors.
