Mayor Carolyn Goodman is not in favor of plans for a new underground transportation center at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
According to Las Vegas Sun, the mayor sent an email to the board of directors for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority saying she prefers the new system to be built by a company in Austria and she prefers that it is above ground.
The board is currently considering Elon Musk's Boring Company. They are set to vote on a final contract next week.
