A state senator was honored Friday with his own cannabis strain.
Euphoria Wellness named a strain after Sen. Richard "Tick" Segerblom, called Segerblom Haze. Segerblom is the father of Nevada's medical marijuana law. The strain is said to reduce nausea, anxiety and stress.
10 percent of each sale of the strain will be donated to the Helping Brothers and Sisters Charity for Veterans.
Euphoria Wellness is located near Jones Boulevard and Robindale Road.
