A Las Vegas man's body was found earlier this week near Nelson's Landing, a popular place to jump off cliffs, in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The Clark County coroner has identified him as 25-year-old Ronin Brooks Rom. At this time, his cause of death is undetermined. His time of death is listed as 1:50 a.m. Aug. 12.

The Review-Journal says that the National Park Service received a call reporting an emergency around 6 p.m. Sunday.

The newspaper also says that Rom was a graduate of Southwest Career and Technical Academy and played volleyball at Sierra Vista High School.
