Suspect sought in smoke shop robbery

Henderson Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a smoke shop on Sept 10.
The suspect approached the cashier at the Hashu Smoke Shop, at about 11:30 a.m.
The suspect was purchasing a cigar and as the clerk attempted to make change, the suspect reached across the counter and grabbed the clerk’s hands.
The suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the smoke shop on foot across North Pecos Road.
No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 200-220 pounds with short hair and a mustache.
He was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt, black pants and white tennis shoes. He was wearing a black and red baseball cap with black “U” and a red bill.
