A man was shot around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday near Paradise Road and Harmon Avenue at the Red Roof Inn.
Police say that that the incident started as a father and son argument, resulting in the son shooting his father 3 times.
The father was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. The son was taken into custody.
No other information has been released.
