A man was shot dead in a car in the parking lot of a 24 Hour Fitness early Tuesday morning.

Around 1:20 a.m., the man was shot near Rainbow Boulevard and Alta Drive. His foot was on the brakes and his dry cleaning in his back seat at the time.

Las Vegas police Lt. Dan McGrath says another car pulled up with at least two people inside. One shot from passenger side and hit the victim. He died at the scene.
