A man was shot near Maryland Parkway and Sahara Avenue at 6 a.m. on Wednesday after an unsuccessful robbery.
The man was walking when an SUV pulled up next to him and a suspect exited the vehicle. The suspect attempted to rob the man, but failed, so the suspect shot the man.
The victim was transported to the hospital after the incident. Both the suspect and the vehicle were last seen heading southbound on Maryland Parkway.
