LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A Rochester man is cycling from Los Angeles to New York City to honor the dream of his late wife and to raise funds for scholarships that will help disadvantaged students.

Tracy Williams and his first wife used to renovate homes in Rochester, NY to make the community better for the people that lived there. When his wife died, he began the Courtney T. Williams Foundation. CTW Foundation encourages students to learn more about real-estate related fields and other ways to build communities from the ground up.

He started his journey in LA this week and is making stops in 13 states across the country to get the word out about the cause he's fighting for. This weekend, he made his first stop in Las Vegas.
