An emotional reunion took place overnight at McCarran International Airport.

Our cameras were there when George Espinoza arrived home after many weeks.

Espinoza was greeted by family and friends and there were many smiles, some tears and hugs.

Espinoza has been in the hospital since he and his family were in a crash while on vacation in California.

It happened back in March.

Espinoza was with his wife, their two daughters and his mother visiting Yosemite National Park while on spring break.

On their way home to Las Vegas, their vehicle was hit by a drunk driver.

The crash killed his 10-year-old daughter, Jamie, and Espinoza's mother, Angelita. The crash also left Espinoza fighting for his life.

One of his coworker's told 13 Action News that he is dearly loved and they didn't want him to come home to an empty airport.

"He still has to undergo some more surgeries, he still has a long recover ahead of him," says coworker Shawna Murdock.  "This is just the first step, coming back to Vegas from Fresno finally."

A GoFundMe account was created to help the Espinoza family with medical and funeral expenses. Almost $84,000 has been pledged.
