A 70-year-old man in a wheelchair was killed when he was hit by a car shortly before 6 p.m. Nov. 28.
Police say that a Dodge Neon was traveling east on Desert inn Road when it hit the wheelchair near South Zuni Circle. The man was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police say the man in the wheelchair was not in a crosswalk and that the driver of the car stayed on scene and did not appear to be impaired.
This is the 120th traffic-related fatality for Las Vegas this year.
