A pedestrian is in critical but non-life threatening condition after being hit by a car Saturday evening near Lake Mead Boulevard and Mount Hood Street.
Police said a 34-year-old was walking across Lake Mead Boulevard, not in a crosswalk, when an elderly driver hit him.
The driver continued on but witnesses were able to get the license plate number and police caught up with him, locating the driver at his home nearby.
