A man died after he was trapped under machinery at a North Las Vegas business Thursday morning.

Around 9 a.m., the North Las Vegas Fire Department was dispatched to the CNC Waterjet, located in the 4100 block of North Pecos Road, near Craig Road, for a man trapped under machinery at the light industrial business. Units arrived within five minutes to find the male trapped below a large piece of equipment.

Crews lifted the equipment and extricated the patient; however, it was determined that he had succumbed to his injuries. The Clark County coroner has identified him as 21-year-old Braden Liu of North Las Vegas. His cause of death is pending.

OSHA is investigating the incident.
