A man has died after a three-vehicle crash in October.

Henderson police investigated the crash around 8:25 p.m. Oct. 24 at the intersection of Warm Springs Road and Valle Verde Drive.

A 2008 Ford Mustang driven by an unrestrained 53-year-old man was traveling eastbound on Warm Springs Road and making a left turn onto northbound Valle Verde Drive on a yellow flashing yield signal. A 2016 Ford Fusion driven by a 28-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Warm Springs in the No. 1 travel lane with a steady green signal. A 2012 Hyundai Elantra being driven by 31-year-old woman was waiting in the No. 2 travel lane of southbound Valle Verde at a red signal.

Police said the operator of the Ford Mustang failed to yield the right of way to the Ford Fusion resulting in a traffic collision in the intersection. The Ford Mustang spun out of the intersection and struck the 2012 Hyundai Elantra.

The driver of the Ford Mustang was transported to Sunrise Trauma in critical condition. The driver of the Ford Fusion was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

On Nov. 2, Henderson Police Fatal Investigators were advised that the driver of the Ford Mustang succumbed to his injuries. His name will be released by the Clark County coroner after next of kin notifications.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to call the Henderson Police Department at 702-267-4911, 311, or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
