A man is dead after being struck by a van at 6:22 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 15 at East Cheyenne Avenue.
Nevada Highway patrol say that a man was walking in the travel lane on I-15 when he was struck by a van. The woman driving the van suffered injuries, but was not taken to a hospital.
Southbound I-15 is closed between E Cheyenne Ave and E Craig Rd while NHP investigates the accident. Drivers will want to avoid the area.
