Man charged with making terroristic threats in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Police say a man is in jail after boasting on Facebook about the desire to carry out a mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Antonio Antunez was arrested on July 18 and booked into Clark County Detention Center on a charge of making terroristic threats.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, an arrest report says he suggested to police that he wanted to kill dozens of people in a local gang after an attack on him.

Antunez is being held on $250,000 bail and is expected to appear in court on Aug. 19.

He also has two separate charges of lewdness with a child under 14, for which he is expected to appear in court on Aug. 20.
