A man and woman were taken into custody Monday morning after they ditched their stolen vehicle in a neighborhood in an attempt to get away from police.
The incident took place around 5 a.m. near Harmon Avenue and Sandhill Road. The man ditched the vehicle during a traffic stop. The woman stayed and was arrested.
Police set up a perimeter in the area to find the man. K9 units were brought in and eventually the man was captured.
